なぜか涙もろい彼女

ラノベ発でコミカライズもされていますが、一番とっつきやすそうな映画の方をご紹介します。

ある理由で違う世界に住む二人が出会う物語です。

その理由は、わりと物語の序盤に明かされるのだけど、その現実離れした内容に、この話大丈夫かなと思うのですが、どんどん主人公の気持ちに入ってきます。観ながら考えていると、そうか自分達も同じじゃん！と気付かされるのです。

This is a story about two people who live in different worlds for one reason or another meet.

The reason is revealed rather early in the story, but its unrealistic content makes you wonder if the story is okay, but you get more and more into the feelings of the main characters. As you watch and think about it, you realise that we are the same! I think it’s a good story, but as I watch it, I realise that we’re the same.

私たちも二度と戻らない一瞬を生きている

そうわかった途端、主人公の気持ちがリアルな実感を伴って感じられる。

頭の片隅に、もう会わなくなってしまった、けれども、きっとこの世界のどこかで生きている人を想うかもしれません。

「私の最終日」。別れた後の電車内での慟哭には、あまりの切なさに胸が張り裂けそうになりました。

そして、また私たちは映画の始まりにループしてゆく。

でも、もう彼女の「涙もろい」理由を知ってしまった私たちは、のっけから涙無くしては見れない。同じストーリーなのに2度目は全く違う視点で見ることになる。

ありきたりなタイトルが損をしている、もっと話題になるべき傑作だと思うのでした。

Once you realise this, you feel the protagonist’s feelings with a real sense of reality.

In a corner of your mind, you may think of someone you no longer see, but who is surely still alive somewhere in this world.

‘My last day’. The wailing on the train after we parted was so sad that it almost broke my heart.

And we loop back to the beginning of the film.

But now that we already know the reason for her ‘tearfulness’, we can’t watch it without tears from the very beginning. It’s the same story, but the second time around we see it from a completely different perspective.

I think it’s a masterpiece that should be talked about more, and that the conventional title is detrimental to the film.
